UnChained
UNLEASHING HUMAN POTENTIAL,
ONE DOG AT A TIME.
A New Chapter for Our Mission
UnChained is preparing to transfer its programming to a new long-term home.
We are proud to share that we have identified a wonderful organization to adopt our program. This collaboration honors everything we have built and opens the door to a future where this work can grow even stronger.
Our goal is to ensure the connection between youth and rescue dogs continues to thrive. We are currently finalizing the details of this adoption to ensure a seamless transition for the youth and dogs we serve.
The Mission Continues Immediately
While we finalize the details of this transition, the work is already moving forward.
From January 12 through April 10, we are running a comprehensive program cycle hosted at Monterey County Juvenile Hall in Salinas, CA.
During this time, dogs will live on-site with youth to receive care and training while preparing for adoption. This pilot is critical to our future. It serves as a live training ground to ensure a solid and comprehensive hand-off of the program to its new organizational home. By modeling the work here, we create an on-ramp that will ensure the long-term success of the program.
Support the Transition
We previously paused fundraising to prepare for our timeline at that time. With the launch of this critical pilot program, we are re-opening donations effective immediately.
We invite you to join us in this final push. Your contribution directly supports the youth and dogs in this current class and ensures we can hand off a thriving program to its new home.
Stay Informed
All parties are excited about this match. We are currently working out the final details and look forward to sharing the full reveal in early 2026.
